Ohio

Rufus and Eric are enjoying time alone together while the rest of the family is in Ohio. Apparently Rufus ate hair and he was in distress until Eric pulled it out 😮 Everyone is missing Pooh's birthday party at Grandmas. There's cake, a piñata, presents, and decorations.

Rufus seems to be enjoying his Father's Day morning, chasing cats (one who stared him down last night) and licking the salty sweat off Jen's legs after her bike ride.

Fetch Time!

Rufus has enjoyed playing fetch and urinating on every object in the yard. At least it isn't black this time! 

Emergency Vet Visit

Oh Rufus. We had such a great day. Why is your urine black? It was like Ed was here and had changed the oil in a car and dumped it on the tree. We will get you all fixed up!

Rufus and Shannon took it easy on short stops while following Jen's 36 mile ride.

Rufus likes the Subaru. It is Rufus proof-no jumping into the driver's lap or cloth interior (easy poop clean up) on trips.

Camp Parrish can be hot in the summer. But the creek and kid pool make it bearable. Rufus decided he needed to jump in both...

Quantifying His Visit

Shannon likes to keep track of Rufus's behavior when he attends Camp Parrish. As of Sunday, she reports he "is being good so far and has not done anything bad today" However, it is only 8:15am. A neighbor is looking for their cat and set a trap last night. We woke up to a possum in it this morning! Good thing Rufus didn't play with the possum yesterday. It looks like he's been so good he has earned two smiley faces, doggie bucks, and a free day at Camp Parrish (he comes over when the Ellemans are not out of town).

Other than pooping in the house, scaring the cats, barking at 4:45am, and chasing chickens, Rufus was great! We hope he will visit Camp Parrish again soon.

Rufus was up at 4:45am. Eric is playing field fetch in hopes of getting an uninterrupted nap this afternoon.

He's Back!

Rufus is enjoying the weekend at Camp Parrish. Shannon has created his 'beehavyer chrt' to help him "learn to be good even though he probably doesn't pay much attention to it."
