Fire pit

Rufus received many tally marks on his behavior chart (for chasing chickens) while we fixed up our fire pit.

Rufus has a behavior chart!

Shannon decided Rufus needed a behavior chart so we can keep track of what he does everyday. Apparently jumping, going upstairs, knocking her over, and chasing the chickens are his major issues. He got a "smiley face" for Friday!

Inside Out

Camp Parrish

We welcome Rufus to the first day at Camp Parrish! We hope he enjoys his time here.
Today we spent some time getting settled. Rufus spent time consulting with Audrey, the resident camp houndselor. Audrey explained to Rufus the camp rules, among them:
+ Only short drinks of water or else the tall human will yell at you.
+ The furry toys with whiskers that move will hiss at you and scratch you. Don't bother them.
+ Try not to knock the short human with the pretty hair over.
+ The best thing to do during the day is to just lay down.
After spending some time learning the ropes from Houndselor Audrey, the tall human and short human took Rufus out for an evening constitutional, where a rousing game of fetch was enjoyed.
Rufus has had three successful BMs this afternoon.
Rufus asked that a letter he wrote to his humans be forwarded below:
